Young pipers

A group of young pipers (and drummers out of shot) of the Banda de Gaitas Villa de Xixón (Xixón being the alternative local spelling for Gijón).

They are practicing and drumming up (excuse the pun) support for the XII annual bagpipe festival in two day's time, at which six different bagpipe bands from Asturias wil be playing.

It's nice to see so many youngsters carrying on the local musical tradition.
