Clouds

I spent the morning photographing my friend Elaine's paintings. I do this for the people I paint with. I make a bit of money and they have photos they can use to submit work to shows, put it on their website or for print but not to sell as a giclee. She fed me a delicious salad for lunch and we spent quite awhile catching up. It's been too long but it was great to get together today.

Then I shopped and when I got home I worked on my photo book and now my blip. Arvin is home but he's resting so I'm chugging along until dinner time.

While I was at Elaine's I took this photo of clouds above Lake Whatcom. Elaine and her husband Mike live on the shore of the lake. They have a wonderful, charming and relaxed home. There is nothing ostentatious about their place. The garden there is amazing. I think Elaine does it all herself. She is one of the most energetic people I know. And a good painter too.
