Looking towards the road

An upset sort of day. We got the news this morning that our daughter in law's father had died in the night. He hadn't been very well but it was still a surprise. Our son and his wife will be on their way here before long.

A hot, windy day. In the extras heliopsis which I have intended blipping for ages. This may not have been the best day because it was getting blown about a bit.
