... said the compère at the Kirkintilloch Canal Festival today. Such a shame as so many people had gone to so much bother to get the marina looking spic and span and there were many more boats than usual there. We left just as it was really getting going and the rain started in earnest. It's much better weather now so I hope they get a good day tomorrow. My extra is the swan family - the adults hatched seven cygnets this year and they've all made it. Here they are going to join the festival fun.
