Flower Friday - L

The best I could do, is the letter L stands for "L"ots of stamens in the centre of this little Clematis. I also thought it had "L"uminosity. "L"ovely colours, not forgetting that the flower could be classed as "L"ilac not purple.

Anyway, such a gorgeous day today that we took the little sports car out and went to a lovely pub called The Royal Inn, at Horsebridge, Nr. Tavistock. (You will see the pub  if you visit Vectensians blip page), but the two extras are of the River Tamar which separates Devon from Cornwall. So taking this I was standing in No Mans Land - Devon to my left, and Cornwall to my right.

And the second is a distance shot of Sheepstor, which I took when we were travelling home across Dartmoor. A glorious trip out indeed (and a superb lunch!!)
