Bittersweet

A wild hop bine growing in a nearby hedgerow.
Hops are added to beer to impart bitterness and flavour.
We have baby Lucie staying for a few days , and this was taken when we popped out for a quick walk round the village in between downpours and lightning.
The lens is still in theatre, ( extra) the surgeon has taken a brief rest this evening and hopes to finish the job tomorrow.
