Sea potatoes

Tried to see some dolphins in Moray Firth this morning but unlike others lined up with huge lenses and binoculars we couldn't see anything. Back to Dornoch via Anta factory, Glenmorangie distillery and Tain pottery (nice to be able to wander all through the different parts of the making process).
The rain had started so we wandered round the shops inside the old Jail and the cathedral with beautiful stained glass windows (extra) and a very chatty lady member of the church guild!
The rain had stopped so we went for a long wander along the beach. Lots of seabirds but otherwise really empty and beautiful. Found lots of these little skull-like shells on the sand-no idea what they were but afterwards, as we drank G&Ts in the golf hotel bar, I asked Twitter and found they are a type of sea urchin https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Echinocardium_cordatum
Dinner at Luigi's in the village-very tasty!
Tired out from the walking and fresh sea air-lovely!
