Magnolia Magic

Extravagant blooms
On bare branches blushing pink
Broad petals curve in

The inter web tells me magnolia are thought to be one of the first flowering plants to evolve on earth.  I love them and this is the last time I will see this one.  I will be buying a new one next spring for my new garden.
I have got into the window seat this afternoon no not literally but I could it is 6ft long and have got a big pile to chuck and a small pile of children's books for each child to inherit.
