An injury to one....

Our unison colleagues who make up a large number of the support staff at the college were out countrywide on strike today because of an issue of pay inequality in the national bargaining process.

For a number of reasons, not least among which is the fact that I support their pay claim, I was not prepared to cross the picket line and go into work. I did show up and then stayed their for a couple of hours supporting their picket line before heading off. 

Hopefully they will get a swift and satisfactory resolution to their dispute. As the title suggests an injury to one is an injury to all.
