Jackie Dee - Buddy (recorded 8 May 1958, Nashville TN)
This day would have been Buddy Holly's eightieth birthday, but of course he died in 1959 in a plane crash when he was just 22 years old. Jackie Dee was only fourteen when she recorded this tribute to Buddy Holly - the only tribute released while he was alive. She later became better known as Jackie De Shannon.
