The river at dusk

Wild and Wide Angle Wednesday: River at dusk

At breakfast this morning the sun was shining and the sky was a beautiful blue.  By mid morning the sun had been hidden behind a blanket of cloud which just got darker as the day went on.  It was very mild, but there was a fine mist of rain in the air from time to time - not a great day for taking pictures outdoors.

I had taken my camera with me to work hoping to get a shot at lunchtime.  But in the end, I grabbed this shot of the river Avon at Saltford this evening on my way home.  The light was definitely going by the time I took it, so it works better in mono.
