Slaters Bridge

John drove GrahamColling & I  to another more remote area of the Lake District. - Slaters Bridge, Cathedral Cave, Blea Tarn, crossed over some high roads, narrow one way mostly , having to back when meeting other vehicles. We dropped down into this wide open spaces, much more sparse and barren and remote.  Quite a contrast from the previous days  and a bonus no rain fell today.  Finished off with coffee and cake in a lovely teahouse in Grasmere.

Another perfect day. I've been so lucky taken to many awesome places with great company.
I'm heading off tomorrow, a train from Penrith to London, the tube to Heathrow for an overnight before flyng out the next morning.

I'm very tired tonight,

Rainie
