The Start of Colors Along Spring Creek

The rain had slowed down and it was merely drizzling when I took this picture. I had been on my way to work - taking the long way around, to be sure - when I hopped out of my car and grabbed my umbrella for five minutes along Spring Creek.

The foliage colors are starting to change, just the very first wave of it. I have been catching some yellows and oranges in my travels; the occasional standout tree here and there. Even a dark and drizzly morning couldn't dim the glow.

The soundtrack is a song about colors: The Hooters, She Comes in Colors, from the 1985 album Nervous Night (which I highly recommend - every song on it is good!).
