Halifax Sunrise

I had another background tv extra role today which meant a very early start.

The work was in Halifax, unsurprisingly for Last Tango in Halifax. The unit base was at a rugby club in the hills above Sowerby Bridge and when I got there just after 6am it was bitterly cold. We had been asked to come along in summer clothes so, as we were having our breakfast, we were desperately hoping that it would warm up.

After they had decided which of our summer outfits we should wear I took the rest of my clothes back to the car and was fortunate to witness the sun rise over Halifax. I couldn't play around or adjust my position I just had to quickly take a couple of shots from the car park and I am pleased with the way this turned out.

The actual filming was outside a pub so I was glad I could put on two T-Shirts to keep warm. Once again it was a thoroughly enjoyable day with some great people and as a bonus we had wrapped by lunchtime.

If I don't end up on the cutting room floor I will do another Where's Wally shot from the television like I did for Our Girl last week although I suspect I was hidden by a raised flower bed :)
