Walton Lane: Hoverfly on Passiflora

Warmer light in large.

Quick photo session in a lane near home: the light came and went, but I had fun chasing insects with the macro lens... The insects are drawn to the passion flower vine and ivy, and so am I. I saw some ladybirds (resting in the sunshine, and crawling about), lots of wasps (again), found a non-biting midge stuck in a spider's web, and was please to find this hoverfly resting on a wild apricot.
