Chest of Drawers

I bought these drawers second hand in about 1980.  They are looking a bit worse for wear now so we (my husband) are going to have a go at upcycling them. 

My mam had an old Priory writing bureau that I inherited and I loved it but it was starting to look quite jaded and scratched.   My husband painted that and it came out great.  I really didn't want to get rid of the bureau for sentimental reasons and I feel the same about the drawers.  If they come out okay I'll post another photo at a later date.
