Wendy and I are always discovering new places right in our own county, much to our delight. Today we went to Seneca Creek Lake, only about 7-8 miles from home and we found the autumn foliage to be just about perfect and there was an abundance birds everywhere...bluebirds, Northern Flickers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Robins, Titmice, and Kingfishers, which we could hear but couldn't see.  I hadn't seen any bluebirds since earlier in the summer so I was delighted to get this one with the autumn colors behind.  I have loaded a shot of the foliage into the extras. So happy to get my blip up early in the day instead of a day late, for a change.
