Good day in the garden

Apart from dodging the odd shower (used as a good excuse for a tea break) we have spent most of the day in the garden.  We've raked up enough leaves to fill 2 large garden sacks.

And we've cut down the meadow area.  My job was to attack the tall plants with an electric hedge trimmer, and then W followed on with the mower - thus chopping it all quite fine, suitable for the compost heap.  This photo taken when the battery charge on the hedge trimmer ran out, and it was recharging.  It's all done now.  Though it still needs a rake, and a further mow.

We also cleared quite a few leaves from in the pond.

The colours are lovely at the moment, even in our small patch.
