Thunderstorm

Yes, this thunderstorm put paid to my butterfly hunt this afternoon.

I arrived at Lochore Meadows (aka 'The Meadies') just as the heavens opened so sat in the car for half an hour. It cleared up so I set off round the loch but it soon became obvious that more was on the way.

Surprisingly, under those wet conditions, I saw 6 green-veined whites and 2 meadow browns - all in flight, so no blips.

Sorry folks, you'll have to be satissfied with this cloudscape.
