Nipped by Jack Frost

The rain continued during the night but had passed over as we got up after another decent nights sleep ;-).

Obviously going to be showery today, but we managed to walk into town in the sunshine.....pretty windy though today. We didn't need much really, but enjoyed the walk, before calling in Reds for coffee, which turned into an early lunch as they had hubs favourite, Corned Beef hash, on the specials board! It was hearty and warming too :-)

By the time we got back, there were some really dark clouds looming large over our house, so I quickly popped into the garden in search of a blip.

Our yellow dahlia has been such good value during late summer and autumn, and has only succumbed this week, since we had our first frost......looking a little sorry for itself now :-/ I thought I'd photograph it one last time, before I give it the chop ;-)

A few more jobs this afternoon, also tried out the video link on messenger, talking to one of our DiLs, and of course Olivia and Isabella got in on the act.....lovely to see their little faces :-)
Spoke to youngest too, he's doing ok, looking forward to starting his new job Monday :-)

I'm uploading earlier today as it's quizzing tonight.......must improve on our last two weeks score, to get into the top two!!

Might have a spare hour or so to write a few more cards once I've finished here......oh joy!!!
