Brrrr !

A super cold day but one of those beautiful crisp days with blue skies and sunshine. A very heavy frost covered everywhere and we had to leave before the sun was up to get to the Puffin Pool, -3 in Avoch.Beautiful light with pink clouds and snow covered mountains.
A lovely hot pool and I managed to do lots of exercises which will mean I'll probably ache abit tomorrow.
We took David to Inverness as he's away to a Stag weekend in Edinburgh , so if you see a group of Super Heroes around David is Spiderman ;)
We went to Alturlie Point , lots of birds including lapwings. Great views of the bridge with the snowy mountains behind.
We also drove to Kilmuir on this side of the Moray Firth where I noticed this tree in a frost covered field. It was very crispy walking on the grass and all the puddles were frozen too.The leaves are still looking colourful but falling from the trees quickly now.
