Derelict Sunday - Ferry Nearly Derelict

Ferry nearly derelict, but not quite. A fixer upper, and in for some tender love and care.  The ferries do a brisk business in the harbour, and the weather today certainly carries on the brisk bit, even while this ferry is high and dry. I like the way the paint colours ripple where the hull has had a good rub down.

The storm seemed to miss us, thankfully, and today we had a wander around Bristol harbour with friends and family, including Greg who for once picked on someone else for his fish-eye portraiture... ;-)

There was a chance for a family blip meet shot of course, and I've dropped it into the extras (of which I seem to have lots and little time left in the year in which to use them all), as well as a mono of Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge at just after high tide and a high contrast Balmoral by the Bristol M-Sheds.

I think, by the way, that there's just a double handful of days left in my life as a blipfoto research subject. If you didn't know about it, well it's hardly worth worrying now. But... clicky.

Thanks as ever, by the way, for all your kind comments, stars and hearts. Life remains hectically busy... the folk in the parish seem suddenly to have noticed the proposed doubling in size of our village, and they ain't much impressed! I now have a community meeting to host, as well.
