Alerte orange

The forecast rain arrived, with an orange severe weather alert. It wasn't too bad first thing, so I hurried out to grab what I could before it got any worse. Conditions were not ideal as you can see, and after half an hour stinging needles of rain drove me back to the car and home to the sofa by the fire. The wind is getting up and I'm betting a lot of the leaves will be gone by tomorrow.
