An Everyday Swan

Just an everyday swan, on an everyday pool,
no flapping or dipping, no waddle or flight.
Just an everyday swan on a day that is cool
and windy and grey - a bright splash of white!

New front door and porch door fitted today. Looking good except that it shows up all around it. So, much more work to follow ... touching up bits of hall wall that needed replastering, replacing old damp-stained carpet, painting porch walls, and so on and so forth. Still, it's a great improvement.
