The Lozarithm Lens

Peckingell (Monday 28th November 2016)

I had things to do in Chippenham yesterday afternoon and made a couple of detours in search of a blip. I explored a cul-de-sac in Lower Lodge and found a farm with some calves (see Extra).

On my way back I called in at Peckingell to see if the polo ponies were there. Some of them were, and there was a rather glorious sunset, though by the time I reached the stile into the field the sun was sinking below the trees on the skyline. Nevertheless I got some shots, struggling with the rather tricky exposure, until the ponies decided I probably had hay in my camera bag and came up too close for more photography. They had lovely warm noses.
