You'll be a woman soon. Poppy is being pretty smashing at the moment, agreeing to be blipped and then playing with some software to change her hair and makeup. I'd say it was because it is nearly Christmas but this year her list is rather moderate.

After 5 years our heating is finally working, it needed a much larger pump and some cleaner and a proper balance. At some point in the last 40 odd years it has been subjected to several massive bodges so I asked the plumbers to explain what is wrong with it and what we need to do to sort it. Seems that apart from the undersized pump, the mucky pipes, the faulty solenoids, a lack of a bypass balancing valve, the incorrect wiring and an excess of pipework it is almost perfect. It needs sorting though so I'm bracing myself for a bit of a bill. Bloody house ;)
