WildWednesday: Northern Flicker

It's too bad that my first blip with my new camera is through my triple paned window but it was so cold that I wasn't motivated to go outside.  We got about 5 inches of snow overnight and our high today was 18 F (about -8 C).  Winter has arrived! 

I was so excited to have my camera delivered yesterday afternoon.  I had ordered a bundle from Amazon with several lenses and various other necessities a few weeks ago.  I have a big learning curve ahead but I was pleased to be able to figure it out enough to take a few pictures today and get them downloaded to the computer.  :-))
