After a lifetime of English Christmases, I still can't get used to the Spanish way of doing it. No roast turkey, mince pies or Xmas pud. Just huge pig haunches, gooey fudge and sickly cream cakes. Though a meat eater, I always make a point of never eating anything with a face. I may extend that to anything with a foot.
