Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus)

While waiting for Mom to come out of hospital I got on with some long put off things I've been meaning to do.  The morning was taken up with putting things on eBay, hopefully in time for people to be interested in buying for Christmas.

While I was sitting at the computer, I took the opportunity to capture the odd image of the tree visitors in front of the study window.  They included the dunnock from a few weeks ago.   You're always looking for an image with a clean background and while this might have been better, it was about the best of an average bunch.

I got a call from the home to say Mom had returned, so popped down to see her back in the room.  Despite her complaining while in hospital that she wanted to sit in a chair, she seemed quite content to be in bed when I arrived.  She must be getting better because there were a constant stream of instructions for me.  Still, it seems to have taken its toll on her over the last week, so I'm hopeful that a little bit of TLC from the nursing home staff will help her back to her old self.
