Sunset at Whittington Castle

There were groups of people staring at my house this afternoon, many dressed in Christmas costume. It was a treasure hunt and one of the answers to a clue must have been my next door neighbour's house as they were writing on papers when they spotted it. We get treasure hunts in the village from time to time as the castle, church etc. gives plenty of scope for clue writing. I would have loved to have photographed them but didn't have the courage to go out and ask, especially as there were a lot of children.

Luckily there was a beautiful sunset this afternoon which provided me with a blip.
