Stirling Rock Choir

Stirling Rock choir were the surprise  hit in tonight's concert of Christmas music in Dunblane cathedral.

They are drawn from people who live within the old city walls and their singing had a distinct modern air.   It was music unlike anything normally heard  within the  normally sedate and conventional Dunblane cathedral .
But the audience loved it.

Meanwhile the Dunblane cathedral Handbell Ensemble provided a unique sound. For those who had never heard handbells before it came as quite a shock, especially when we were all asked to produce our car keys and join in!
