Another . . .

. . . view that wasn’t! Looking across Windermere to the mountains - on a grey day.

The extra picture shows it was even worse at 1500 ft. We took the Kirkstone Pass way back from Windermere and found that at the highest point we were actually in the clouds.
 
A mystery
How come one can go into Lakeland for two things and come out with a basket full of really useful things that you did not know you needed. A mystery! (Or some very clever marketing that you don’t really mind falling for perhaps)
 
And I did buy some oven gloves that were made in England, in Rochdale – a reminder of the once great cotton industry. They were not the cheapest oven gloves, but it feels somehow right to have bought them.
