Now, as I see it......

Duchess of Sutherland

It seems a long time since I Blipped a steam engine, mainly because there haven't been as many excursions this year for various reasons. This is 46233 'Duchess of Sutherland', an LMS 'Princess Coronation' Class locomotive built in 1938, here passing Souldrop in Bedfordshire with an excursion to York.

The bridge where I took the shot is on a muddy back lane but with a good view of the line which, so far, has no overhead wires to spoil the shot. Whilst waiting for the train to arrive I managed to over-excite a passing lady's schnauzer so had to change my trousers when I got home.
