The White Dove

If I'm walking back from the western side of town then I usually take the shortest route up Star Brae, a footpath which climbs up beside the Free Church to the junction of Hill Street and Rockfield Road.

This garden belongs to one of the houses in Combie Lane, just behind Combie Street; there are usually a few doves fluttering around the doocot, and the white-barked birch makes an interesting feature in the lawn.
