Beneath Biscay

... and back again

Flight back to Asturias. I was moved to the emergency exit row, with extra legroom, which was nice. It was the same air hostess as on the outward flight. Perhaps she remembered that she had run the refreshment trolley into my kneecap on the outward flight a few days ago, when my leg was protruding into the aisle due to lack of legroom. But then again they had moved me into an aisle seat on that occasion precisely to give me more legroom. Anyway, very pleasant and no complaints. I've long been accustomed to playing leg-origami on public transport.

The extra shows the subsequent gritty reality of final approach to a rainy Asturias airport, descending past the steelworks at Avilés.
