At Seattle Center

Had the girls over today for the afternoon.  they wanted to 1) make cookies 2) go to Seattle center to see the holiday train.   I tried to talk them into another , easier cookie, but no, it had to be THE christmas cookies, so we made the dough and then went in the rain to see the train.  Tatum likes her traditions.   We were parked near the Gates foundation so we also took this opportunity to look at some of the exhibits of world wide projects.  Then home to make those cookies (I hope to not see another for a year!!altho Tatum can do them all herself pretty much)), and an ornament and Tatum put all my cards up on the door in the front hall --It would not have happened otherwise.. another tradition and help from that kid....and time for the friday magic show before Boppa took them home at dinnertime.   and I wonder why I don’t have time to write more cards etc.   I liked  the umbrellas—no snow today!— and the train.   NO more cookie pictures!    The final christmas ships will be on Lake Union outside our windows shortly but I need to sit on the couch and KNIT, if Rexie’s xmas sweater has any chance of being done tomorrow.      Flickr set later….
