Stalking

Quietly watching early this morning, very still, she didn't see me as I was in the shadows of the hedge, at quite a distance. After taking a few shots  the fox disappeared into the hedge so I hot-footed it over there as I knew the hen house was just the other side of the field and well within striking distance. However not a sign. 

The hole in the hedgerow behind her is the one I secateured  in order to crawl through to track our local deer - works well for sheep too :) I came face to face with Poppy on the other side so no wonder the fox had done a runner!
