Relief.

Good stuff this. Clears your nose and soothes your aches.

Had a very short net tonight; no batting but managed to bowl a few overs. Only really went to catch-up with the other captains and share our woes about silly arseholes who just don't want to play cricket despite the awful summer we've had.

Looking at it from other folks' point of view it could well be that because it has been so utterly shite weatherwise, they've fallen out of love with the world's best game.

Oh well.
