New Year's Eve

Again a sunny and windy day.

As we are not going out tonight, we decided we would have a few drinks and tapas at lunchtime.   It was lovely sittingin the sunshine, although cool when the clouds came over.

We are all ready for the New Year;  Cava and Grapes.    It is the custom here in Spain that on each of the chimes at Midnight you eat one grape (12 in all).   Usually if you are in a bar at that time they will provide them, but they usually have the pips in.   At the Supermarkets you can buy individual tins with 12 grapes in, sometimes peeled and without pips.

I have to say, despite many years of trying I physically can't eat 12 in such a short space of time, but still keep trying.
