Manners.....

.....a demanding wee ball of fluff and a very patient mum.

Lovely to see Mrs thrush being so attentive to her demanding baby, it is so tiny! It's little wings are going 'ninety to the dozen' and so eager for food it's looking for more before finishing it's mouthful. Interesting to watch as I think Mrs thrush is into manners, waiting for the food to go down, the wee babe does a little burp, and then she feeds again before taking to the air in search of more food. I've never had a thrush family in the garden so I'm thoroughly enjoying this experience.

Along the fence a little further is a family of sparrows. Both parents are feeding a juvenile who can fly quite well. The juvenile is a bit naughty as it only takes food from mum and quickly hops along the fence or turns it's head when dad offers food, poor dad!! But rather comical to watch :)

And down on the ground is a family of blackbirds. The young one is hopping all over the garden while the parents are frantically trying to feed it and keep up, no manners there, simply down the hatch, one gulp and then some more, no burping!

Wildlife from my garden.....I didn't get many jobs done today :))
