Gus

Spotted Gus (and his fetching Pat Butcher earrings) during today's trip to the local garden centre with Norm. We went for a coffee, natter and some craft supplies and then on to the Airedale Heifer for more nattering and a pint. Apparently my hair looks ok... phew!

I received an email from one of the blokes my dad did his National Service with (in Hamburg, in 1953!) a couple of days ago. We've been exchanging emails and old scanned pics for a few months now (thanks to Forces Reunited). I've just sent him a reply. It feels strange, but in a very nice way, to be in touch with someone that I've only seen in pictures from 60+ years ago and who now lives in Australia. Technology is a wonderful thing.
