In The Tunnel

A visit to Todmorden Market followed by a walk along the canal towpath.   Here the towpath leaves the canal side and turns upwards to pass underneath the main Rochdale Road.    It's very steep with very uneven cobbles, but there is a rope hand rail to haul yourself up with (should you need it).     I wondered what the horses towing the canal boats would think.
