The Goldcoast

After falling asleep due to jet-lag, when we woke up it was dark! I still hadn't taken a blip photo but fortunately they'd allocated us a room at the front of the building with very nice sea views of Surfers Paradise Beach.

An apartment block is being built nearby and after the days work the cranes were lit - quite a nice touch. It's so quiet during the day you wouldn't guess building work was on-going unless you could see it.

Our apartment is very nice with large living/kitchen area, large bathroom with jacuzzi bath/shower and washing machine area; a modern LED tv can swivel between the bedroom and living room - a clever touch.

The blip photo at the top shows our night time view to the left with the cranes lit, and the bottom photo shows the view to our right. I've combined them in a composite.
