One flower at a time

The carpenter has been here for most of the day building a frame for the understairs cupboards.  A couple of months ago we had it all ripped out because there was a half door which both of us kept banging our heads on and it seemed to make more sense to be able to utilise the whole area.  It has been sectioned into three usable units and the high gloss white doors ordered for fitting in about four weeks time.  I've added an extra for those of you who are no doubt confused.

My cough has at last disappeared but the vertigo is getting worse.  Fortunately I have a doctor's appointment next week to see if I can have something to knock me out for our trip to the Caribbean at the end of the month, so I'll be able to kill two birds with one stone, hopefully.

My cactus is only producing one flower a week, so here's this week's.
