A postcard from ..........

A Sunday morning lizard for you - and, in the extras, a monitor lizard digging in the sand - I took over forty photos to try and get his tongue out ....... in one out of forty plus there was his tongue - yay!!

Last night a mega-thunderstorm and torrential rain - thunder, lightening and ............ MOSQUITOES!!!   
Aaaaargh - after 14 days of no mozzie bites I got got!!

Sri Lanka is desperate for rain so I don't begrudge them it but I am flying out tomorrow (Monday) and more big storms are forecast so I hope it's a little late and comes in on Tuesday!

Thank you for putting Mr Chippie on page one of the populars - he looks to be in very good company as there are some stunning photos there at the moment.
