Today I finally got my lanyard! Due to the nature of the needs of some of our students, the school corridors are sectioned off with secure doors which need a fob to open them. I have been using a vistor's pass so far, which does some doors... but not others. And some days there aren't enough to go around. Glad to have my own! Also had my first meeting with my Line Manager, there's such a lot of staff support at this school which is really good compared to my last situation. Honestly, I didn't have high hopes for today but it turned out completely different (in what I was doing and in breaking my expectations), and although we didn't make Morris practice tonight I am feeling a lot better than I was this time yesterday. Hopefully that will be the trend!
