Travel Back In Time With The U-Bahn

The UBahn is ideal transport in winter or if you are in a rush.In summer most take the bus , walk or ride a bike. One summer on entering the U2 at Neue Westend  it was so hot the driver had his door open. Before he set off he asked if I'd like to ride up front. "Yes please " was the answer. The perspective was amazing and he let me sound the horn. It was so exciting that to this day when I stand on the platform  looking up this tunnel it all comes flooding back. Many trains shunt and park in the middle of the tracks. That day I had no camera.Today I did and standing on the platform travelled back in time .This image is taken from the spot where I left the train years ago, that special day.
