Olive Tree Trunks

I haven't done an abstract for Thursdays because I don't understand exactly what constitutes an abstract. Today I decided that I would do some fartnarckling, titivating, and faffing (thank you to all my UK friends for these wonderful words) and come up with something. 

These are the olive trees that stand just outside the back wall and the doves LOVE to roost in them. Am I stretching too much? 

I used Photoshop to add a few filters and blending modes. I would not be able to recreate this ever again, but I think I like what I did.

I am grateful to Ingeborg for hosting this challenge and getting me out of my comfort zone to learn something new.
