Première Vision

Today's research took me to the twice yearly Première Vision fabric and textile fair at the Parc des Expositions in Paris. It is a VAST fair where the world's producers of fabrics and textiles display their wares for the designers and buyers who will determine what we will all be wearing this coming spring and summer. My specific interest was Harris Tweed who normally only attend the September fair, when buyers snap up the latest colours and designs of the exclusive hand woven Hebridean fabric (it is too heavy for spring and summer wear). But with the help of Harris Tweed Hebrides today, I got a great insight into how the whole process works.
