Flower Friday...

...and yesterday I was given a pot of flowers by my art group for teaching them the last couple of weeks.

When I looked in blip earlier today, I realised it was Flower Friday. So I thought why not do a painting of my thank you pot of flowers and dedicate it to Anni, Biker Bear who runs the Flower Friday challenge, as a thank you.

So these thank you flowers to me are passed on as a thank you painting to Anni.

They are painted in acrylics using white, a variety of purples and greens, some terracotta, and a phthalo blue, and a tad of paynes grey, and is my painting for today for my painting a day challenge to myself as a pic every day in 2017.
